Importing Bank

Hello,

I have my bank account linked already to my QB. How to do I import older transactions that were never imported? Additionally, when I try to manually importing them with a QBO file, QB says that I don't have an existing account for that bank info. The issue is the account is already connected. The only option it gives me is to create a new bank account for the to be manually imported files and I do not wan to have two of the same bank accounts. Anyone have any advice ?

RE: How to do I import older transactions that were never imported?

Most banks make transactions for the last 30 - 90 days available for download and there's nothing can change it when connecting directly to the bank.

In most cases, you can't import a QBO file into a bank account already set up for bank feeds.  In order to import it and select the account, first remove the bank feeds set up from the account (edit it from the chart of accounts do to this).  Then you'll be able to pick it to import the QBO file.

If you are using a supported version (i.e QBD 2019-2022), utilize this 3rd party importer tool
