Hi there Site Pro Designs.
Let's get your latest transactions into your QuickBooks account and manage them. To begin with, may I know your bank's name and if you're getting an error code? This way, I can check if there are connection reports with the financial institution and able to share specific fixes.
On the other hand, this happens if your bank undergoes system maintenance on its website or the bank switches in QuickBooks Self-Employed are OFF (ensure to switch it ON). You can also check your online banking account to see if there are notifications that need your attention.
Once verified, you'll want to refresh the bank connection using your browser to restore and trigger updates to your bank transactions.
To do this, feel free to follow these steps below:
If it's not updating, I suggest manually adding transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed to keep your transactions organized to see your latest financial reports.
I'm also adding our QBSE Overview to learn more information about what you do while using the system, like the Schedule C categories, track deductions, and many more.
Please remember to add comments on how it goes with getting your bank transactions. I'm always ready to help you here. Keep well!
I was having an issue before -- the page where my transactions should have displayed was blank about 10 days ago. Tech support fixed that issue but I am still having an issue with my account. It seems to be frozen in time, it's not updating. An invoice that is past due shows that it is due in one day--but that's not accurate. It is already past due. I don't have time to go looking for ways to fix this since my bank account is connected and the system should be working. I am not using Schedule C that I know of.
I can provide some troubleshooting steps to make your troubles away, @siteprodesigns-g.
Browser issues are the most common reasons why users encounter issues in QuickBooks. Please know that online platform uses the browser’s cache to run faster. However, these can sometimes become corrupted, which affects the program’s functionalities.
You can access your QuickBooks Self-Employed account in an incognito or private window for testing. Here are the keyboard shortcuts you can use for quick navigation:
Once logged in, check your invoices and other features. If it works as intended, get back to your regular browser and clear its cache. Doing this helps the program to run smoothly. You can also use other supported browsers as an alternative.
I’ve added some resources to help manage your entries faster moving forward:
