QBD - QuickBooks Desktop - reconcillation issue

QBD reconcile shows old deposits that don't match up with any bank statements. They're just hanging there for months now.  How can I fix them?  I'm okay with a quick journal entry.

We appreciate the efforts in providing a screenshot for a clear reference, Kucelkj.

Before making any changes, we recommend carefully reviewing the deposits and comparing them to your bank statements to ensure accuracy.

Since you mentioned the deposits have been pending for months, it would be helpful to start by reviewing your reconciliation for January. Carefully check whether the transactions were included in that reconciliation, paying close attention to the date range and amounts.

If the January transaction matches your bank statements, you should also track the previous month's transactions with similar details to understand where those older transactions belong.

You can refer to these articles for assistance if your accounts in QuickBooks Desktop don't match your bank statements at the end of reconciliation:

RE: QBD reconcile shows old deposits that don't match up with any bank statements.

Well, if for some reason there are deposited in your bank account register that never happened, and never will, then they should be deleted or voided to undo whatever effect they have on your books.
