Quickbook checking is Down!!!

Hey community! I want everyone to know I was informed by several green dot bank agents that they are having technical issues on the backend that said is affecting all customers, where I can not make payments with my quickbook/green dot checking acct.  and they are not able to push account balances and or accurate status’ of transactions to my quickbooks account.  So basically financially blind and can’t pay bills!    I ask when will this will be fixed, I’m told “engineers are working on this with highest priority” then I ask are you going to let me other affected customers  know when the issue is resolved, they respond “no, you will have to call back the next day to find out”  I have been calling everyday for weeks, still not fixed.  I ask how do I manage my transactions, “I was told I could back any time to find out my account balance and status of transactions” Is that the expectation? Because each call takes approx 1-2hours or more!! I get different answers from every agent, agents on the quickbooks side say one thing and the agents on the green dot side say something completely different, and each side is in disbelief of what the other is saying!! But you can’t get them both on a call together. Even when the agent says they will stay on the line after they transfer the call, they don’t and they hang up, I have been on the phone with quickbook and green dot bank representatives for an accumulated 35+ hours in the last few weeks trying to resolve these issues with my account. I have dozens and dozens of pending transactions, going back several weeks, holds in the thousands of dollars for weeks, I have know idea what’s been released to my account, what is and what is not reflected in my account balance. I can’t operate my business like this!!! This is just the worst customer service experience I have ever dealt with!!!

I wish I could make your support experience better, @SAV System.

I haven't experienced your scenario myself, but please know that I truly understand where you're coming from, and if I were in your shoe, I'd also feel the same.

As much as I wanted to assist you through this and be able to continue doing all your business-related tasks, however, QuickBooks is just a third-party application of Green Dot Bank, and we have no hold as to when this get fixed.

In the meantime, what we can only do is wait for any updates from them. If anything else comes up, feel free to reach back out in the Community. We're here to help.

Thank you for letting us know about your experience, @idealappliancere.

To help you resolve the error you're having, I suggest reaching out to Green Dot Bank. They have the tools to check your account in a secure environment, identify why your checking and debit card are not working and resolve them.

Refer to this article for more information about putting money in and taking money out of your QuickBooks Checking account: Use your QuickBooks Checking account

In the meantime, you can check this article for additional guidance on moving money from one account to another to correct the balance in QuickBooks: Transfer funds between accounts.

Let me know if you have further questions about your QuickBooks account. I'm always glad to help in any way I can. Have a great rest of the day!

You're definitely not the only one. I have a transfer that I initiated back on June 12th, 2023 to my other business banking account and it still hasn't cleared. This is beyond frustrating. I have stopped taking payments through the CC processor and canceled any invoices that were sent through QB. I resent them through another, reliable, processor. I would suggest you do the same until this malarkey is resolved.

I'm just as upset about this as you are and it amazes me that there isn't any official and professional statement from intuit regarding this. How the hell can this still be an issue for this long? I am getting ready to begin searching for a Way to take action against them. This is costing me money and I am unable to pay bills. My clients cannot pay me etc........... it is OUR money they are holding, and it clearly isn't a priority to them so in my eyes it feels almost like theft. Zero excuse that weeks later this should be an issue. I was ok for a day or 2. Not this long. I read on another thread where someone was contacting the attorney General in their state (or already had). Not certain which route I am taking but I think we should all ban together and stop letting the moderators on here give us generic responses about reading some stupid "how to" page about a d*mn checking account. It's a checking account..... I don't need a "help" article about how to use it..... its insulting to see so many responses like that. I don't need your FAQ page i need my money and so do the other business owners on here. My message may be unprofessional but I am irate that I have paid these people large percentages of my revenue just for them to put me in a position where I can't pay a bill. Ridiculous!!!!!! If you're a QB representative looking to respond and help, then save your fingers from hitting copy/paste, and instead lookup my account and have someone call me. I know that won't happen, but the burden should NOT be on us, the customer, to reach out and remind you that your system is broken, and that we need our money!

This is ridiculous!  I can't believe they can get away with holding our money!!  I am sure they were hacked and just don't want to say it!!  If it takes this long to fix something...you know they (Green Dot) has no control and Quickbooks should be embarrassed by this whole nightmare scenario and should be working harder for us clients!  They recommended/partnered with Green Dot...egg is on their face too!!!

The issue is between Green Dot and Intuit; specifically Quickbooks checking account is not in synch with the actual Green Bank checking account.  Unfortunately, the only way for Quickbook subscribers to access their Green Dot checking account is through Quickbooks which is broken and has been for several weeks.
