Payroll did not withdraw funds

I'm here to share details on when will QuickBooks Online (QBO) withdraw funds from your account for your direct deposit payroll, @Mike161. This way, you can keep your account updated and make sure you'll be able to pay your employees on time.

In QBO, the usual payroll Direct Deposit (DD) has a 2-day lead time. With this, the funds should be withdrawn from your account the day after you've submitted payroll by 5 pm PST. Employees' bank has until 11:59 pm PST on the paycheck date to post the funds to their account.

Every time you run payroll, QBO will send you an email about its status. With this, you should be able to receive one to verify why the funds weren't withdrawn in your payroll account.

In case you haven't received an email notification about your payroll funds, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Support team. They can securely verify your account and check why the funds weren't withdrawn accordingly.

We've updated our customer support options in QBO. In case you want to talk to one of our representatives, you'll have to request a callback. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Help menu.
  2. Select the Contact Us button.
  3. Enter a brief description of your concern in the What can we help you with? field.
  4. Click Let's talk.
  5. Select Get a call or Get a callback.
  6. Enter your contact information.
  7. Select Confirm my call.

To make sure we address your concern on time, contact us from Monday to Friday every 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM PST. Then, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM every Saturday. For the Advanced version of QuickBooks, you can contact them any time and any day.

I'm also adding this article for the answers to the most frequently asked questions about direct deposit in QBO: Fix issues with direct deposit in QuickBooks.

Please let me know if you have other concerns. I'm just around to help. Take care always.
