Question

QB Workforce NOT THE SAME as ViewMyPaycheck

The below statement that only the formatting has changed between QB Workforce and ViewMyPaycheckis FALSE!  My employees cannot see the most critical item to them - their vaction and sick balances.  I clicked on everything clickable in that window - incuding the last paycheck, which has only no available balances; these are not visible and the old functionality is supported for eployees.  (In addition, this switch was implemented with no notice to me as an employer).

WHEN and HOW CAN EMPLOYEES SEE THEIR VACATION BALANCES??

>>Has anything besides the look of ViewMyPaycheck changed?

No. Paychecks and the most recent W-2 form will still be visible in QuickBooks Workforce as they are today. To ensure we match the employee with the correct payroll information, employees will still need to provide their Social Security Number and the net pay of their most recent paycheck when accessing QuickBooks Workforce for the first time, or from a new browser. Employees with multiple employers will still be able to add additional employers to the new QuickBooks Workforce .<<

Hello rachaelkeish,

We've received reports from other users concerning some missing information from the QuickBooks Workforce website due to migration. Our product engineers are currently working on this as quickly as possible to fix the problem.

I recommend you reach out to one of our Payroll Support Specialists. They'll be able to add you to the list of affected user and for you to receive updates via Email.

Please reach them through these steps:

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks.
  2. Click the Help tab at the top menu.
  3. Select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  4. Click Contact Us

I'm always available here if you need further assistance with QuickBooks Workforce. You can reach out to the Community by posting a response.

I'd check you local regulations and make sure that you're in compliance while Intuit fixes this.  If not, you may want/need to provide your employees with valid pay stubs on paper which meet the regulations of your state!

Is there any update on the status of putting in a fix so that leave balances are visible to the employees without actually downloading a PDF of their check?  We are very unhappy about the loss of this functionality.

Thanks for requesting updates on missing historical pay stubs, @FIS.

Our Engineering Team is currently working to get this problem corrected as quickly as possible. I recommend following the instructions provided by my colleague to contact phone support and add your account to the list of affected users. This way, we’ll be able to directly notify you of any updates available.

In the meantime, you can get a copy of all the pay stubs from the employer. Rest assured, I’ll personally post here on this thread once a fix is implemented.

Thank you for your patience. Let me know how the call goes and if you need anything else. I’m always here to keep helping. Have a good one!

What is the timeline on getting this fixed.  I was just considering doing this as a benefit to our employees but if it does not include the pertinent information I want to wait.  Do we have to wait for a full update for this to be corrected?

I was also told that as I use Intuit Full Service payroll that my new employees are no longer able to sign up for ViewMy Paycheck/Workforce . Instead they have to revert to Paycheck records which doesn't allow viewing of W-2's and requires ME to reset their passwords! Very unhappy about this

Pretty pathetic huh?

Their only response is 'our team is working on it'. If their IT team hasnt figured out the answer in four months, then they need go to. We've always encouraged clients to purchase Quick Books. Maybe this is something we need to quit doing since they cannot provide support that is DESPERATELY needed! Intuit, SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's been seven months now.  How's that diligent team doing?  Working around the clock on this I expect.

Intuit needs to partially reimburse all users for the loss in functionality of employee access to paycheck records.

Hi, @Allison12.

I totally understand the impact of any delay in resolving this on-going concern with viewing your employee's payroll in QB Workforce. Rest assured our Product Engineers are working on expediting the release of the permanent resolution for this.

I'd recommend  contacting our Payroll Support Team so you'll be added on the affected user's list. Also, you'd be notified via email once an update about this on-going concern.

Let me know if you have other questions. I'm always here to help.

When are you all going to get your act together and get this fixed??? This is the same response you’ve been giving for MONTHS! Quick books used to be a good program, now it’s rendering itself useless from an employee standpoint! Stand behind your product and FIX THE PROBLEM!

Here is a post that is also not addressing the workforce issue.  QB stopped posting on it and directed me to this series of posts.
