Hello and thank you in adance.
I sell on Amazon and they pay sellers for sales made on the marketplace every two week directly into our banks
Let say after 2 weeks they owe you $1000 for sales made on their website. They deposit that $1000 into the bank. Now is there a way to see what transactions match up to that $1000 deposit from within quickbooks? In other words, this $1000 deposit it made up of orders #123, orders #1245 etc etc. I want to know what customers orders made up that $1000 in sales that Amazon is depositing.
Anyone know if this can be done?
Hi there, Max Sales.
Currently, the option to track and match transactions on your Amazon account with bank deposits is unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO). We understand that this feature would be beneficial to streamline your workflow.
To help improve your experience with QBO, your valuable feedback goes directly to our product development team for review and consideration. Here's how to send it:
Alternatively, you can integrate a third-party app with QBO to transfer your sales data from Amazon. Here's how to find one:

I just signed up for QBO and it seems everything is a 3rd party add on. Soon the monthly fee with be a $200+
What can QBO do to help the accounting and tracking aspect of selling on Amazon or Shopify or other marketplaces WITHOUT having to get more and more add-ons?
I appreciate you getting back to us, Max Sales.
I will provide further information about how QBO can help you with this issue.
You can connect your Amazon account to QBO and configure your app to only record payments in QuickBooks Online.
Additionally, if your bank is linked to QBO and the Amazon app deposits money directly, you can either connect the bank to sync only Amazon transactions or connect Amazon to QBO for direct transaction handling. To prevent duplicating their income in the profit and loss statement and reduce workload and extra add-ons.
