Cannot access Quickbook Online

I cannot access Quickbook Online anymore. Unfortunately, I used 1 email address to make a Accountant account and an online account for my company. 

 

The QBO company is linked to the accountant account and now I cannot access the QBO account with my email at all. I am getting logged into Accountant automatically. 

 

I made a different email the primary admin for the accountant but I still cannot get into QBO.

 

Opened 2 chats and did 1 call and they suggested I upgrade my plan, switch the admin for the QBO account etc. Is there no way to just remove the email I am using from the Accountant company so I only have the option to use QBO????????

It did not seem that the three people I talked to had any relevant solution. I searched the forum and saw that many other people are having the same issue. Why all of the sudden did I lose the ability to switch between the two companies I had set up. I was able to choose Accountant or Online, and now I am stuck in Accountant. I cannot access my Intuit loan because that seems to only be in Online.

 

Also, why is it difficult to change the primary admin then if having the same email on both companies is going to cause issues? I don't think I should have to upgrade to add another user and then cancel the upgraded subscription.

The reason why it needs to have a separate email for QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Accountant it's because they have the same sign-on page. 

 

We can change your accountant credentials so that you can switch your company's account. Here's how:

 

  1. Click your Profile icon.
  2. Select Manage your Intuit Account.
  3. Click Sign in & security.
  4. You can change your Email address.
  5. Select Save.
