We use QB Desktop and just updated from 2019 to the 2022. I am noticing that our invoices now show several small random squares where it should be a letter in our template headers. It does not show them while in print preview but does on printed or emailed copies. Is there a way to resolve this? Thank you for any guidance :)

Hi there, @HH3616.
Thanks for sharing your concern in the QuickBooks Community page and adding a screenshot.
Let me help you fix the error in your invoice templates in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).
The template you've created might be damaged. This is the reason why some of its letters are shown as squares.
To test, try creating another template and check if you're still getting the same result. If not, delete the damaged template and recreate it again.
If yes, run some basic troubleshooting steps in QBDT. This way, we trace the cause of the issue and fix it.
Let's start by updating the program to its latest release. This keeps your software up-to-date so you always have the latest features and fixes. Here's how:
If you run to similar problem, use the Verify and Rebuild Data tools. These will help us identify the most commonly known data issues within a company file and fix it.
If the issue persists, download and install the QuickBooks Tool Hub. This has set of tools you can use to address different types of problems.
