How do I integrate quickbooks and shopify?

The plan I subscribed to stated that it can sync to an e-commerce platform. How is that done? The link in the support system doesn't work.

You can use the Shopify Connector to easily sync your products, Shopify fees, and sales transactions with QuickBooks Online. 

 

To connect your Shopify via Shopify Connector, let's navigate to the Apps menu:

 

  1. Open your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Go to the Apps menu on the left-hand side and type Shopify Connector by QuickBooks in the Search bar.
  3. Select the app and click Get App Now.
  4. Choose the Shopify channel you want to connect to, then click Next.
  5. Decide how far back you want to pull data from Shopify using the How far back do you want to bring data from Shopify? field, then click Next.
  6. Follow the steps on the screen to complete the connection and configure the app to sync your data.

The system doesn't allow me to connect. It has stated "

Something unexpected happened and we can’t connect to Shopify.

Try again in a few hours. (580)

Note from Shopify

To complete this connection, sign in to Shopify in the pop-up window. If you encounter a blank screen after you sign in, close the pop-up window and immediately select <strong>Try again</strong> on this page."

I'm not sure what I need to do now.

  • Verify that the proper permissions are enabled to allow integration access between systems.

 

I also recommend clearing your browser cache, as it can sometimes store outdated data that impacts performance. Clearing it will refresh the system and provide a clean slate for troubleshooting. If the issue persists, consider switching to a different supported and updated browser to avoid errors related to the one you're currently using.

 

Alternatively, you can also explore a third-party app that facilitates the integration between Shopify and Intuit (QuickBooks).
