IHP Markit

Is there a URL link to the IHP Markit where I can see today's exchange rates as well as historical?

Hi there, BethR. I can offer you an alternative solution to access the exchange rates you need.

QuickBooks Online utilizes the latest exchange rates provided by IHS Markit. To find their official website, consider searching for it on any search engine.

Another option is to generate a Transaction List by Customer report and include the Exchange and Foreign Rate columns. This will allow you to access the historical exchange rates you're looking for. I'll walk you through the steps:

  1. Navigate the Reports tab, search for Transaction List by Customer in the Search box, and click to open it.
  2. Tap the Switch to classic view.
  3. Select the Report period.
  4. Click on the small gear icon.
  5. Ensure to check the Exchange Rate and Foreign Amount boxes.
  6. Then click Run report.

With these instructions, you can see the list of your historical exchange rates needed.

Furthermore, I've also provided an article on saving customized report settings for future access: Memorize reports in QuickBooks Online.

You can post again in the comment section if you need more help with exchange rates or any related issues. I'll be sure to assist you.

Thank you, but I'm just looking for the link to their IHS Markit website (because I haven't had any success in locating it in a search engine).  I recently migrated from Desktop to Online, and the migration brought over the exchange rates I was using from OANDA.  I want to see what the differences are between OANDA and IHS Markit over the last couple of months.

We appreciate you getting back in on this thread, BethR_Ballentine.

As we aim to provide convenience while accomplishing your QuickBooks tasks, we're unable to provide or access links outside of Intuit or QuickBooks websites. However, I've seen several results and webpages about the IHS Markit from the search online engine. You'll want to consider finding their official websites to ensure the accuracy and legitimacy of their current rates and other information.

Additionally, you may refer to the insights shared by my colleague above, as QuickBooks Online also utilizes the latest exchange rates provided by the IHS Markit.

I'm sharing this guide to help you configure your own exchange rates so you can use them for any foreign currency transactions: Enter and use your own exchange rates.

We're always available in this thread if you have additional questions about currency rates in QuickBooks. Feel free to leave them in the comments below, and we'll provide further help. Keep safe!
