Importing data from a .QBJ file

Thanks for getting back to me, TIA.

You'll encounter a Failed when handling conflicts error when your CSV/QBJ file has account numbers, account names, and account types that differ from the information in QuickBooks. This resulted to the Unrecoverable error.

We have some solutions that you'll need to perform to fix it. Check this article for the detailed steps: Unrecoverable Error: General Troubleshooting Steps.

Importing data from a .QBJ file

Dear Kristine,

Thanks for your reply.

I follow the instruction on your link https://quickbooks.intuit.com/community/Getting-Started/QuickBooks-Desktop-won-t-open-has-stopped-wo... and get some improvement. Some small QBJ files are imported successfully.

I don't know if I have done correctly, since I don't find the EntitlementDataStore.ecml file. It seems just guide me to re-install QB. There is no step handling the company file.

My QBJ file has over 60,000 records. I just cut it into small ones for testing.

The attached one firstly causes a warning "Failed while handling conflicts".conflicts.gif

After I clicking OK, it shows the error.

After clicking [Send], it shows  the following message.

After clicking [OK], the QB shuts down.

The CSV file before converting to QBJ is as follows.
