Information Changed

I recognize that every business has different needs and preferences. Let me help and guide you on how to disable the Information Changed window.

We’ll have to configure the settings in your QuickBooks to accomplish this task. Here’s how:

1. In your QuickBooks, navigate to the Edit menu and choose Preferences.
2. Navigate to the General menu on the left panel and select My Preferences.
3. Remove the checkmark for Warn when editing a transaction box.
4. Click OK to apply the changes.

That solution does not work.   However, I did find a fix:

Go to EDIT

Go to GENERAL (COMPANY PREFERENCES)

Check off "Never update name information when saving transactions"

This will ensure that changes made to a customer or vendor profile data field will not change past or future data.
