Price Levels

Hi there. Let me add some clarification on the price level feature in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

The price level type is already visible, you will need to choose the Fixed% or Per Item option from the dropdown menu when creating a price level. Hence, the option to edit the price level type of an existing price level is unavailable.

See the screenshot below for your visual reference.

On the other hand, to change the price level type, you can inactive the current price level and create a new one with a different type.

I’ve attached some illuminating guides to get more tips and ways to manage rates or prices to reflect on sales automatically and efficiently:

I’ll be here to continue helping if you need further assistance with price levels. Just let me know by adding a comment below. Have a good day!

@AbegailS_ i guess my version of quickbooks, which is QBDT PRO 2021 doesn`t allow for the option to use the Price Level Type as it is inactive. The Per Item option would rather work for me, since my prices aren`t based on a fixed % base for all the items
