QBO Test Drive

I am trying to access the test drive feature so I can test some transactions out first in a sample company instead of doing it in our live data.  When I click on the links in the instructions for test drive it just brings me to my QuickBooks data.  How can I access a sample company on QBO that is not the accountant version.

Thanks!

QBO Test Drive

Hi, Dawn541. I'll help you out in accessing the QuickBooks Online Test drives.

It's possible that the issue you are experiencing while trying to access the QuickBooks Online Test Drive is likely due to the stored cache in your browser. When you visit websites, your browser saves certain data, including cookies and cached files, in order to improve loading times and the overall user experience.

As a result, when you try to access the QuickBooks Online Test Drive, your browser might automatically direct you to your real QuickBooks Online account because it remembers the previous access. To resolve this, you can use any of the suggested solutions below:

  1. Using a private or incognito window: Open a private browsing window (InPrivate window for Microsoft Edge, Incognito window for Google Chrome, or Private window for Mozilla Firefox). In this mode, the browser does not save any data, so you can access the QuickBooks Online Test Drive without interference from cached data.

  2. Clearing browser's cache: This process will ensure that any QuickBooks Online-related data is removed. However, the steps for clearing the cache vary depending on the browser you're using.

  3. Using other supported browsers: If clearing the cache or using a private window doesn't work, try accessing the QuickBooks Online Test Drive through a different web browser entirely. This ensures that no cache or cookie data is interfering with your access.

For quick access to our test drives, see this article as a reference: Test drive QuickBooks Online.

I've also added this link just in case you'll have trouble accessing your account in the future: Recover your Intuit Account if you can’t sign in.

Please don't hesitate to return to this thread if you still require my assistance or have other QuickBooks-related questions. I'll always do my best to help you out.
