Quick Book Web Connector

After upgrade my company file from version 2019 to 2022 in a new computer, I'm receiving error messages from Quick Books Web Connector related to a .Net Framework unhandled exception with the message "Object reference not set to an instance of an object". The error message window can't be closed, it only shows a "Continue" button, but when I click on it continuoslly shows the same error message.

The computer is a Windows Server 2019 DataCenter.

It should be noted that the error does not appear if I am connected with the Server's administrator user, but with a normal user it does.

Can somebody help me? Someone knows how to fix that?

I’ll help you fix this error, @RPAA.

There are several reasons why you're getting this error message. It can be a system file corruption, or the Microsoft .NET Framework installation is corrupt.

Let me share some basic troubleshooting steps so we can fix the issue. To start, download QuickBooks Tool Hub, then use the QuickBooks Install Diagnostic Tool to get this resolved. Here’s how:

  1. Close QuickBooks.
  2. Download the most recent version (1.4.0.0) of the QuickBooks Tool Hub.
  3. Save the file.
  4. Open the file you downloaded (QuickBooksToolHub.exe).
  5. Follow the on-screen steps to install and agree to the terms and conditions.
  6. Double-click the icon on your Windows desktop to open the tool hub.
  7. In the tool hub, select Installation Issues.
  8. Select QuickBooks Install Diagnostic Tool. It can take up to 20 minutes.
  9. Restart your computer when finished.

If you're still getting the same result, proceed to the remaining instructions (3-5) provided in this article: Fix QuickBooks Desktop install errors.

In addition, here’s a reference to manually fix Microsoft .NET Framework errors. Follow the steps for your operating system.

Don't hesitate to visit me here with an update on your application. I’m always here to help. Take care!
