Quickbook Version 2022

How do I return to the 2021 version of Quickbooks premier Plus. The 2022 version is the worst thing ever and I can not take it anymore. When I open 2021 is will not let me open the backup from 2022. I will loose months of work if I have to do it manually.

Sorry but that is the way intuit did it. Once you upgrade the file it is changed to the extent that it will not open in a previous version

Thank you so much for answering. You are very much appreciated. I am looking at new accounting software as Quickbook has become horrible to work with.

Login to your CAMPS, find your license information there and you can reinstall your QBD 2021. Keep in mind, even if you use it, you still have to pay for an annual subscription. Another option, cancel your subscription and buy a new one-time license for QBD 2021.

Utilize a migration tool to migrate data from your QBD 2022 file to QBD 2021.

Another option, ask a third-party company to rollback the version. The success rate may be 100% or lower.

I still have QB 2021 installed on my system. When I backup the company and try to open the 2022 back-up on the 2021 program it tells me that it can not be completed. Thank you for your help. We are looking into changing software programs now.

You can migrate data to QBO or another cloud based accounting app. Consider buying a 3rd party conversion service to help if required.
