Buy nowI have 4 company files that range from 24to44 MB in size. when perform backup each of the file sizes are the same and astronomically larger over 900,000KB. What would cause this issue and how do I rectify it? It takes hours for each backup, which is exhausting. I connected with a QuickBooks specialist and they indicated they can look into it but want 100s of dollars to look into as they don't know the reason because looking at the size on the intuit file on the PC; looks ok. Money that I cannot get approved to fix the issue.
Hi there, @SHoover.
Thank you for taking the time to reach out to the QuickBooks Community for support and sharing your concerns.
I understand that you've tried contacting our support team, but it sounds like you may have connected with the wrong number. If you do not have an active subscription plan (which includes tech support), the tech agent will charge you a one-time fee. Please know that if you're charged a one-time fee, our agents will ensure that your issue has been resolved.
That said, I recommend contacting our Technical Support Team. This way, our tech support agents can review your account in a secure environment and have the tools available to remote into your computer for further investigation. You can use the link I've included below to connect with an agent.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I'm always here to lend a hand. Take care!
Hello Tori,
Please note the initial reason for my call was to verify a tech support number that someone responded to my post on. Speaking with customer service the number was fraudulent. We better not receive a bill. In addition, I disconnected the call because the rep. was not answering my question and I did not have the patience after going through trying to scramble deleting software of my computer that was uploaded by the supposed tech support staff. Thank you,Sam
I am curious with your issue. Try opening the sample file and save it with the new name. Then create a backup file (QBB) to compare its size with the working file (QBW.
