Hi All,

Windows 10 Pro 21H2

Quickbooks Desktop 2021-R10P

 

Does quickbooks have an error log somewhere when it crashes?

 

If so, where is it located?

If you only have one version of QBDT installed, follow these steps to access QBWin.log: 

 

  1. On the Home page, press F2 or Ctrl+1 to open the Product Information window.
  2. Click F3 and select the Open File tab in the Tech Help window.
  3. Choose QBWin.log and hit Open File.

 

Visit this link to access the QBWin.log in Windows, Rights Networks, or other Hosted Environment: Find QBWin.log or QuickBooks.log files

I think you are misreading something.  The link was to one of my questions on Dot Net.  Not to the error log.
