I downloaded them pdf. Chase bank won’t allow me to download another format.

If you're connecting a bank account to QuickBooks Online (QBO) for the first time, transactions from the past 90 days cannot be downloaded, @Jav2024. Let's review some details to help you successfully categorize your transactions into the correct accounts.

Thank you for taking the initiative to troubleshoot the missing transactions. Please note that if you've recently connected your bank account, you won't be able to download transactions older than 90 days. To access older transactions, you'll need to manually upload them into QBO. Let me guide you through the process:

  1. Go to Transactions and select Bank transactions.
  2. Hit the blue tile for the account you want to upload the transactions into and choose the Link account dropdown, then click Upload from file.
  3. Tap Drag and drop or select files and tick the file you downloaded from your bank and select Continue.
  4. Choose the account you want to upload the transactions into in the QuickBooks account dropdown then, select Continue.
  5. Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks and tick Continue.
  6. Select the transactions you would like to import and hit Continue, then Yes and Done.

However, if this isn't your first time connecting your bank account, I recommend manually updating your account as follows to ensure all your transactions are up to date. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Transactions and choose Bank transactions.
  2. Select the account you’re working on.
  3. Once done, click on the Update button.
