Hello,
I'm getting the following errors when updating quickbooks.
service messages: 404
Move quickbooks :15227
File Doctor:15270
Any advice would be appreciated. This is after an update and reboot of quickbooks and the desktop. Also what does the "Reset updates" box do exactly and how is it different from just update now?

These error can sometimes caused when firewall blocks Internet access needed for specific QuickBooks programs or files. To start, I suggest making sure your Firewall and Internet security settings are updated for QuickBooks Desktop. You can also run the QuickBooks File Doctor which allow to automatically opens the firewall ports to configure Windows Firewall. For the detailed instructions and steps, you may check this article: Configure firewall security settings for Desktop.
In addition, error 15270 is cause when the payroll update did not complete successfully. To resolve the error, you may check this article: Error 15270.

Please Learn from this Input. These are not Errors; they really are Status notices.
404 = Not found, as I always have, because I do not subscribe to any Paying services from Intuit, such as Merchant Account Services. That means there Is Nothing to find and update. Actually, I just looked and mine is showing 502 right now. But I no there is Nothing to Update, because I have no Services.
Move = is their New Tool and it is so new, it has no update.
File doctor is part of Problem Solving and Disaster Recovery.
You can use Reset to get Full Update, not the Interim update, such as, something did not completely download and your internet hiccupped. It takes a bit longer, but still is Fine.
Also, in the Update Options tab, make sure you Select All.
What port on the firewall needs to be open for this to work properly?
