Hi,
I have connected the Square App. I have it configured it to import daily summaries of transactions. I also imported all items from Square into QuickBooks Online. Unfortunately, when I go to review the imported transactions, every transaction shows the "Fees" to be equal to the Total Collected. So, for example, if the Total Collected = $70 the Fees will be $-70 and the amount for the Deposit is always $0.
I have attached some screenshots. I would appreciate any help or suggestions! I have disconnected and reconnected. I have looked at every setting, but nothing seems to explain why the entire amount is categorized as "Fees".
Thank you!
I appreciate the troubleshooting steps you’ve already taken, @dheestand. Let me provide the next step you'll need to take to ensure your Square transactions are importing correctly into QuickBooks Online.
First, given that you've already tried disconnecting and reconnecting the app, as well as reviewing the settings, and your deposits are still showing $0 with incorrect fees. I recommend reaching out to support for a more detailed review of your account and to address the incorrect fees. To do so, follow these steps:

Thank you for the reply. I should have mentioned that the first thing I did was content QuicKBooks Online support. I spoke to someone who helped me go through all of the troubleshooting steps. They told me they can not help with the Square App, and that I should open a ticket at developer.intuit.com. Unfortunately, the only issues you can get support on from the developer website are issues related to the API so that was a dead end.
Who maintains this app? Is it Square or Intuit?
Thanks for coming back with additional details, Dheestand. I'll guide you to the appropriate support to ensure this gets sorted out smoothly.
Since QuickBooks Online (QBO) relies on the transaction data provided by Square, it’s necessary to ensure that the data being imported is accurate and correctly categorized. The fees showing as equal to the Total Collected suggests that there's a configuration issue on Square's end.
Regarding your question about who maintains the app, Square develops and maintains the integration. While QBO facilitates the connection, it relies on the integrity and accuracy of the data provided by Square. Therefore, I recommend contacting Square Live support directly to address this issue.
