Buy nowI have Desktop Pro 2018. I have been trying for a year to upgrade. I have called, I have chatted with the rudest most unhelpful "consultant". No one will tell me how to upgrade. I do not know if my account is active. Everything is subscription now but I don't know if mine expired. I don't know how to find out. Why is this so confusing?
Can someone just tell me how to check my subscription and how to update my desktop version. Do not tell me to do Online. I do not want it.

Registered January 2020 and status is still active. It's very likely you've paid for the renewal twice and you should be able to find your license code for QB Desktop 2020, 2021 and 2022 in your CAMPS.
If you can still run QBD 2018 on your machine, you may have the one time license of it. Login to your CAMPS to check your license information.
then you may consider to purchase the one time license for QBD 2021 or the subscription license for QBD 2022 to upgrade your version.

Thank you. I did go to Upgrade QBs and Upgrade Now. And it should be simple. The issue is that it rejected my License # and Product code. I have no idea why. I triple checked them. Any thoughts?
Also, if I click on the Upgrade Now button, it takes me to Online options only. I have to go thru Help and Upgrade Quickbooks.

I really don't understand all this. I just want to update to QBS 2022.

I do have an active intuit account. I am totally confused about this license stuff. (QBs customer service just wanted to sell me online. Actually refused to help me.) So I have to pay for an annual subscription and a license? Is calling them the only way to buy the license?

Well, it depends on the care plans you have. If she has the Annual Support plan, that means you'll need to purchase the license or software for QBDT 2022. But, if you have the Pro or Premier Plus Annual, that means the plan includes upgrading to the latest QBDT version upon release and you'll get the new license information.

Well, not yesterday. I clicked on "Details" just now and it brought up the 2022 install. That didn't happen yesterday. This is all so weird. Waiting on a replay from my IT company.
When did you purchase the license for QB Desktop 2022? Do you find the license code for QB Desktop 2021 in your CAMPS? You can also try to download the installer file for QB Desktop 2022 Canada Pro and use the code to make sure.
I haven't purchases a license since 2018. I purchased a 2022 annual pro subscription. No, no license number on camps. No place for a license number. QuickBooks needs to make this make more sense.
If you just purchased the license, download the installer file for Canada version as I mentioned earlier. Otherwise, request a refund within 60 days of purchase. You can purchase a new license again from Intuit directly or a reputable partners for a lower rate.
