When is discontinue QuickBooks 2021?

You can still purchase the one time license for QBD 2021. Intuit supports it until May 2024. You can still use it after May 2024 without any online service. 

Fiat, do you know where I can buy the 2021 one time license from?

I have a client on the 2019 version of QB Desktop Pro. The upgrade is not feasible for them due to Intuit moving to an annual subscription with their desktop product. This client is far from computer savy, so I am trying to avoid changing accounting softwares after investing so much time in training them on Quickbooks. The only feature they use that will be affected by the discontinution is payroll.

That link only offers Quickbooks 2022 version. I need Quickbooks 2021

You can only purchase QBD 2021 or older versions from some partners.

This is false information being posted.  A one time license of Quckbooks Pro 2021 IS NOT available for purchase.  this is per QB's support chat, and phone conversation May 25, 2022.  I have paid for 2021 twice, under the impression I was buying the one time license.  I am now told not true, and if I do not pay another almost $400, I will be cut off of ANY access to information in my desktop version that has been in there through QB's since the 1990's.  I have been trying for months, through the community, email, chat, and phone calls to find this one time purchase option.  Representative Kevin said yesterday that this information was false, and it NOT available for purchase.  Ridiculous!

As I mentioned earlier, you can only purchase the one time license for QB Desktop 2021 from some partners. If you contact Intuit Sales directly, they only offer you QB Desktop 2022. There is no benefit to them offering an older version. Contact us in private and we can help provide the license if required.

Also, for those who have had it with poor quality service and support from Intuit, there are a couple other options for software out there, that may not be much cheaper than QB's, but are a USA product, you get an answer from someone you can understand, and you do not get the run around.  Yes it is still a subscription, however an honest response, and true help with our business needs seems to be important to them.  So far.  

I am in the process of dumping QB's after more than 30 years of licenses, businesses and family referral to the product, due to their lack of care.
