Thanks for dropping by, @Cathy28601.

Using the QuickBooks Online software to show billable time on invoices is something I can help you with. But first, may I ask if you're using a third-party application to track-time activities? Any information can help us resolve the problem.

In the meantime, I suggest resetting the application to re-establish its connection. The app store data can be the reason behind the hurdle you've experienced.

Here's how:

  1. Click Help on the navigation bar at the top.
  2. Select on Reset App Data.
  3. Allow a moment for the process to complete, and then close the app.
  4. Be sure to right-click the app and Run as Administrator when re-opening.

If you get the same result, you can uninstall and reinstall the app to start a clean slate. You can check out this article to download the app again: QuickBooks Online Mobile App.

Also, I'd suggest accessing your account via supported browsers. This helps you achieve your QuickBooks tasks.

Additionally, to know which QuickBooks Online mobile app features are supported on your mobile device, I encourage visiting this guide: Compare Mobile App Features.

Keep me updated on how it goes. I'll be here to provide further assistance to show billable time on invoices. Take care.

I will complete the suggested steps.

I think the issue is that the client subscribed to the new app Time, but we do not feel that he requires the app.

Just tracking time for himself and wants to be able to invoice clients.

Even though he canceled the subscription, I believe that it is still linked to his QBO.

Ask your QuickBooks admin to finish setting things up.

I appreciate all the updates you've been sharing with us, Cathy28601.

It looks like QBO is still recognizing that there's a QuickBooks Time subscription that's linked to this account. Let's go to your company settings and select the Basic Time tracking option. This will let you track time entries without having a QuickBooks Time subscription.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Account and Settings.
  2. Proceed to the Time tab.
  3. Select the Stick with basic time option.

Once done, go back to the + New button and select Weekly timesheet or Single time activity. Then, make sure to check the Billable box so it would show up when creating an invoice.

Don't hesitate to share more updates and let me know if you're able to record billable time entries. I'd be glad to always offer my help if you need it again.
