Buy nowI've connected QuickBooks Online with both Paypal and Stripe. I use a third party app to connect Stripe to QB Online and I paid for the historical data to transfer to QB Online as well.
When I click on transactions from Stripe, there is no place for me to put those transactions into a category I've established in QB.
If you've done this, can you share with me how to get it done? Thanks!
Which 3rd party connector do you have?

I'll go into detail about how to put historical Stripe data into the correct category in QuickBooks Online.
Using a third-party application, you can easily transfer data from Stripe to QuickBooks Online. You can map transactions in some applications so that they are routed to the correct category in QBO. If your app doesn't provide this option, you must ensure that the Stripe transaction has the same mapping so that it appears in the appropriate category in QuickBooks.
I recommend that you contact your third-party support or Stripe for assistance in mapping transactions, as QuickBooks is solely reliant on the data shared by them. You may need to remove the data manually and transfer them again so it will display to the right category to fix it. Go to your QuickBooks register to delete it.
Alternatively, you can also consider editing the category where the transaction is located and merging it. This procedure will transfer the data to the one you want to keep. Check out this article to walk you through the process: Merge duplicate accounts, customers, and vendors in QuickBooks Online.
I'm adding this resource to help you ensure your QuickBooks balance matched your bank or credit card statement balance: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.
