Continually getting bounce back email error messages when sending out customer invoices

For the last few months we have been having quite a few of our emailed invoices getting bounce back errors, and some go through. No pattern because the same email address may go through on one email, and not another. Extremely frustrating since paying fees for a service that doesn't work consistently.

Do you offer online payments by QB Payments?

Yes. I also cc my sales department on every invoice sent out and they don’t even receive a copy of the email that was sent. It’s not leaving the intuit servers

They have been struggling to fix this issue. Consider to have a 3rd party connector as a workaround for the time being to send invoices.

I know this isn't easy for you, @jeffb73

I recognize the need of delivering an invoice to your customer so that they are aware of their current obligation and can pay it on time.

Currently, there’s an open investigation regarding this matter. Thus, our engineers are still working on a permanent fix for this issue.

As a workaround, you can manually download the invoice and send them from outside of the QuickBooks program as a workaround. I'll show you how.

  1. Open the invoice you want to download.
  2. Click the Print or Preview at the bottom of the page.
  3. Select the Download and choose where you want to save it.
  4. Hit Save, then Close to exit the PDF viewer.

For your reference, you can visit this article for more details: Download and save invoices, other sales forms, and statements as PDF.

While waiting for the permanent fix, I recommend contacting our  Care Support Team. This is to obtain further information on this investigation and add you to the list of affected users.
