I know how much time we can save by inactivating customers all at once, PTurk. I'm here to assist you with this.

We make multiple customers inactive in the Add/Edit Multiple List Entries window. I'll gladly show you how:

  1. Go to the Lists menu and then choose Add/Edit Multiple List Entries.
  2. Click the Customize Columns button.
  3. On the Available Columns, select Inactive.
  4. Choose Add, then click OK.

  5. Mark the customers you want to make inactive.
  6. If you'll receive a prompt message, click Yes.

  7. Continue until you finish selecting all the customers.
  8. Click Save Changes.

For more details about the process, please see this article: Add and Edit Multiple Customers, Vendors, and Items.

Please note that we can't make your customers inactive if they have projects, unbilled charges, or recurring transactions.

Additionally, I've included an article that'll help you record and manage your sales transactions in QuickBooks Online. This ensures your record is always accurate: Sales and Customer.

I'm only a few clicks away if you need assistance in managing your sales and customers in QuickBooks, PTurk. It's always my pleasure to help you out again.

I appreciate your response but I listed this under Quickbooks Desktop not ONLINE!

So your answer is not relevant.

Thank you
