I need to print my GL for entire year and it will only allow me to print the first 670 pages. How do I change that setting?

I’m here to help so you can print your General Ledger report for the entire year, @RNT1999.

At the moment, there’s no setting you can change to allow QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) to print more than 670 pages of your General Ledger. You may consider downloading the report into an Excel document. This way, you can set your printing parameters.

Here’s how:

  1. Open your General Ledger report.
  2. Filter the date period to 1 year.
  3. Select the Excel button to export.
  4. Modify the layout and details if needed in the spreadsheet then print.

You can also utilize a third-party application to print your whole year report. Our QBDT Apps Center contains tools to help streamline processes. Check it out to find one.

I’ve added these resources to learn how to draw information clearly and save the same report settings for future use:

If you need more help in managing your reports, don’t hesitate to add a comment. I’ll be here. Take care always!

There isn't a setting to change it. Have you tried printing it in multiple passes, entering different page ranges, like 1 - 600 and then 601 - (whatever)?  That might work, depending on where the bottleneck is.

What is it you're planning to do with all that paper?
