Thanks for visiting us here, @stevo9930-gmail-.

I'll guide you through the steps on how to delete duplicate inventory items. Let's go to your product and services settings.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Gear.
  2. Under Lists, choose Products and Services.
  3. In the Products and Services page, look for the duplicate items.
  4. Tick the drop-down arrow beside Edit, and then select Make inactive.
  5. Click Yes when prompted. See the images below.

Making the product or service items inactive is the same as deleting in QuickBooks Online (QBO). For details about the steps, check this out: Remove or merge a product or service.

Thank you for the help, is there a way to do it on a mass scale, there are 7 or 8 dups of each product, and 999 products so roughly 6k of duplicates. Also when I try to import them to another program it brings the inactive products as well, So I really need to delete them or at this point its probably faster to set up a new company.

Thank you for responding, stevo9930-gmail-.

I'd like to share an idea on how you can manage the duplicate lists of products in QuickBooks Online.

There are two option you can use to get rid of the duplicate products. You can either select all items by putting a check mark beside the Name column and at the same time manually omit the original products by removing the check mark and utilize the Batch actions feature.

Or, you can select all products including the original and make them inactive using Batch actions, then import the file you used initially without duplicates.

Here's an article to guide you in importing process: Import products and services into QuickBooks Online.
