If you're referring to our QuickBooks desktop app, you can download a copy while signed in.
Here's how:
- Use your Gear icon, then go to Get the desktop app.
- Depending on your settings, you might see it install automatically. If not, QuickBooks will prompt you to save the .exe file, then you can run it manually.
- A shortcut to your app will be created on the desktop. After you've finished installing it, it should open automatically. If it doesn't, you can use your desktop shortcut.
- On the sign-in screen, enter your user ID and password, then click Sign in.
- In the event you see multiple companies, choose one to open.
- When asked to decide how QuickBooks is displayed on your homepage, select Yes, let's go for a similar view to QuickBooks Desktop, or No, I already know how to use QuickBooks Online.
