How to customize invoice emails?

You can edit your default email message in Account and settings.
 

Here's how:

1. Use the Gear (⚙️) icon.
2. Choose Account and settings.
3. Access your Sales tab.
4. In the Messages section, click your Pencil (✏️) icon.
5. Enter the desired message in your Email message text box.
6. Hit Save.
7. Select Done.

Hi Zack - Thanks for the prompt reply.

Unfortunately that's not what I'm trying to do. What you have shown is a way to add a message and tweak a couple settings on the invoice email. I probably wasn't clear enough in my original request. What I want is a simple transmittal email that says something like:

Hi [customer name]

Your invoice is attached.

Have a great day.

=============

They DON'T want to see the pledge amount in a huge typeface with a colored box. One remarked that it seemed like an invitation to buy something from a Nigerian prince. Our donors are churches, and we are asking them to pledge a dues payment. Is there any way to get rid of pretty much everything in the email and just have the text that I'd like to have in it?

Thank you for reaching back out and providing some clarification. Currently, in QuickBooks, you can only edit the email message and change the color of the email form. But I do see how this can be beneficial for businesses. Therefore, I will take note of this and send feedback to our Product Developers. They are always looking for ways to enhance the programs and make your business life easier.
