Let me guide you on how:
For reference, please head to the Grouping and subtotaling data section in this article: Customize reports in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.
The program also allows you to save the customization you made to a report. To do so, simply select the Memorize button. To check this, navigate to the Reports menu and choose Memorized Reports.
If you have any other concerns about sorting reports in QuickBooks, feel free to leave a reply below. I'd be happy to lend you a hand. Have a good one and stay safe.
My screen shows "Total Only" but I don't find a "Total By list" and no "amount" button. Copy attached.
Also, in the Customize Reports article, Sort By says, "Change how QuickBooks sorts the transactions on a report. Transactions normally appear in date order (earliest first) within a specified group. If you want, you can also sort the transactions by amount or by document number." But no indication of how to sort by amount.
Am I missing something?
Thank you again - fun on Christmas Eve
I still done have an answer - could you please check my last reply, please. Thank you.
