In the meantime, I'd recommend logging into your account through incognito mode, as Fiat Lux - ASIA was also mentioned. QuickBooks can act strangely when you have too much cache in your regular browser. This way, we can see if the problem is with the browser.
Here are the shortcuts for the keyboard:
Once logged in, access the bill payment again to verify the error is resolved. If fixed, please return to your regular browser and press the CTRL+ Shift and Delete keys on the keyboard to clear the cache.
Once everything is fixed, continue paying your vendors. For more information, see this link: Enter and manage bills and bill payments in QuickBooks Online.

I am having the same issue. I'm trying to pay a bill (I use Melio) and when I go to schedule the payment, a QB message pops up
A new approach to pay bills is coming soon, and I don't have an option to bypass it to continue to pay my invoice.
Has anyone been able to find a workaround for this?
Try to signup a separate Melio account as I mentioned earlier.
I already have a Melio account.
I have the same problem, QBO pop up says they have a new Bill solution coming, but no way to continue paying bills with the current method?
I'm getting the same pop up. Won't allow me to get to bill pay, just keeps sending me back when I close it. The announcement that something new is coming doesn't include anything about the current service being unavailable in the meantime.
In the same boat here. Processed a bill payment last week with Melio, no issue. Now theres a QB message and it won't let me pay anything. There needs to be a work around for this.
I'm getting the same pop up with Online Bill Pay. Won't allow me to get to bill pay, just keeps sending me back when I close it. The announcement that "Something new is coming" doesn't include anything about the current service being unavailable in the meantime. How can we still access the Online Bill pay?
Thanks for joining this thread, wcm. I appreciate your detailed information.
Since you're receiving a "A new approach to pay bills is coming soon" message which can't be bypassed when trying to use Bill Pay powered by Melio, I'd initially recommend performing the troubleshooting steps mentioned in this thread if you haven't yet.
In the event you've already performed our recommended troubleshooting, but are still encountering the message and unable bypass it, you'll want to get in touch with our Customer Care team. They'll be able to pull up your account in a secure environment, conduct further research with you, and create an investigation ticket if necessary.
They can be reached while you're signed in.

Be sure to review their support hours so you'll know when agents are available.
If there's any questions, I'm just a post away. Have an awesome day!
Getting same message. Incognito has same issue. Chrome and Edge, same issue. Pls advise!!!
I am also getting the same pop up that won't allow me to make payments via QB.
I ended up going into my Melio account (app.meliopayments.com) using my Intuit log in, and it brought up my company's account.
I was able to pay the bills there, just like I would in QB.
After I was done, I got my normal email notification.
I refreshed my QB and all the payments had been applied.
I hope this helps you guys!

THIS is the best answer because it works!
I did an online chat with QBO help and they sent me to Melio, and of course Melio has not responded except to say they received my email! This is really unacceptable. I have venders waiting on payments!
I went the "chat" route and they were not able to help.
Hey,
I saw that too! Looks like there’s a bug but you can still make the payment by logging into Melio.coim directly with your QB login info. If you already have billpay in QB you don’t have to make a new melio account.
Hope this helps!
Intuit confirms they are aware of this issue and engineers are working to fix it. Try again later. Many others are having the same issue, starting today.
And now it works. I guess (sarcasm) no explanation is required.
Bill Pay for QuickBooks Online isn't working right now. We're on it; please try again soon.

Wow... so QB is not using Melio but does not have a new option in place? Customer service is taking calls and being told to give everyone the [email address removed].
There is no resolution... I pay for a service and that service is gone. Instead of saying we don't offer that anymore, there is just an email address supplied. No phone number no resolution. No new option available?
Melio support suggested to Log-in to Melio separately and it will sync to QB?
What other bill pay accounting services can everyone recommend to replace QB... I still have no resolution for their recent update that resulted in unmatching old payments dating back a year.
What is going on at QB? Beginning of the end?
