Just spoke with an agent today (Mon 5/24) who was able to direct me to the update that fixes the problem of being unable to access memorized reports.

Apparently an update/patch completed in the last several days will do it (R6)

if you are having this issue -

got QB -

click "help"

"contact us"

"contact us" again

describe problem briefly and click "lets talk"

choose "get a call"

and give the info/confirm.

You will get a call back and hopefully get the R6 patch to fix things!

Praying it works for all out there that have been trying to get this taken care of!

We run QuickBooks Enterprise 2020 (desktop) on Windows Server platform with multiple users.  Contrary to the instructions listed here, whenever I run data verify and rebuild, some of our memorized reports (recently created ones) are deleted in the process for one of two reasons:  (1) data is corrupted - report opens but with different info than it was created with  (2) data is unable to be read - report does not open.  These reports are deleted in the rebuild process, never restored.

We have also run the file doctor which has not fixed the above mentioned memorized reports.

Having the ability to memorize reports is a major benefit of QuickBooks, however, if it works sporadically, that is not acceptable.  I have seen posts from a while back listing this as an issue and none of the supposed solutions work.

When is Intuit going to do a fix on this problem as it must be something in the programming.  All of our older memorized reports are stable for the most part.  It makes no sense that the newer memorized reports are not stable and can break as early as the day they are created.

It appears that your question has been revamped, mroscorla.

I understand your concern about the matter involving memorized reports in QuickBooks. It's frustrating to lose recently created reports during data utilities, especially when the file doctor isn't able to resolve the problem.

Typically, we would escalate this issue to our QuickBooks Desktop Support for a more in-depth investigation. However, I'm unable to do so as the version of QuickBooks you're using has already been retired. My suggestion is to consider upgrading to the latest version. You can reach out to the team to inquire about purchasing the latest version or call the sales team.

Please don't hesitate to go back to this thread if you have other questions in mind.
