Let me help with your question about the customer list in QBO, hearthandstonevt.

I'd also like to ask if you're getting an error message or is the customer page just spinning around. A possible browser issue might have caused the customer list to not show up successfully. I'll share some of the most common steps that can resolve unexpected results in QBO.

Start by using an incognito/private browsing session or a different browser. Here are some of the keyboard shortcuts to quickly open an incognito session:

  • Ctrl Shift N  for Google Chrome
  • Ctrl Shift P for Firefox
  • Control Option +if you're using Safari
  • Ctrl Shift P for Microsoft Edge

Then, log back in and check if you can already see and work in the customer list section.  If you're able to do that, follow the steps in this article to delete your browsing history: Clear Cache And Cookies To Fix Issues When Using QuickBooks Online.

Here's an extra article for additional guidance and reference as well: Add and Manage Customers in QuickBooks Online.

Feel free to visit us anytime you have questions or other concerns. I'll be around to assist you again. Keep safe and healthy always.

Hi hearthandstonevt,

Hope you’re doing great. I wanted to see how everything is going about the customer list window. Was it resolved? Do you need any additional help or clarification? If you do, just let me know. I’d be happy to help you at anytime.

Looking forward to your reply. Have a pleasant day ahead!

Hi there, Armen2. I appreciate you for all you've done on your end to fix the issue. I can help you with browser troubleshooting steps to narrow down your concern.

Sometimes, your browser's cache may affect QuickBooks Online's performance. Let's perform some troubleshooting steps so you can view your customer list again.

Here are some common steps that can resolve unexpected results in QBO:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

If you can successfully log in using a private browser, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache.

Additionally, you can check this article to learn how to manage your customers in QBO: Add and manage customers in QuickBooks Online

Leave a comment if you're still having trouble accessing your customers list. I'm always here to lend a hand. Take care.

As of today May 14th 2024, I started experience this issue 2 days ago, I reached out QB Support but a case has been opened but no resolution yet.

I have cleared out all the cookies from my browser and still the issue is happening, I changed from FireFox to Chrome and same.

Is this an overall issue impacting everyone or it is only my computer, does not make sense?

Please help!!
