Hello,

Can anyone tell me how I can pull these charts out of the performance center?

They are great charts and we could use them , but not everyone can sign on and see these I need to print or PDF these to others?

Please let me know if anyone knows how to do this properly

Thank you

Good day, RM.

The Performance Center feature is only visible to admin users using the QuickBooks Online Advanced subscription. While the option to export or print the chart through a PDF file is unavailable, you can take a screenshot of it. Then, copy and paste it to a Word file and then print it.

You can also use this article for more details on how to create custom charts to track your business performance and on what roles you can give access to your members or employees.

Always know that your feedback is a way of how we can improve our software more. Please don't hesitate to leave a reply or post again if you need more help. Take care!

Hi there, @GG210.

I'd like to know if you have encountered an error when trying to access the Performance center. It will help me identify the issue and give you a specific resolution for this.

For now, we're going to perform the browser troubleshooting method to check if this is caused by the stored data. Over time this data will become obsolete and can cause this odd behavior to the program.

Let's begin by using an incognito browser and check if you can access the Performance center. Then, go back to the regular browser and clear the cache if you can get into QBO without any issues. If not, using another supported browser is an alternative way.

Here are the shortcut keys to access a private browser:

  • Safari: Hold down + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P

I've added this resource page for more information about the essence of the Performance center feature in QuickBooks: QuickBooks can do WHAT? Business Performance Dashboard. This will also help you on your future task with this feature.

You can always get back in the comment section below if you have other concerns or questions. I'd be glad to help you further. Have a beautiful day and take care.

Hello,

Sorry if this is redundant, but with the recent update accountant users have lost ability to export these reports? Secondly, is in right in saying that admin users in 'business view' ie clients will be able to access the performance center?

I have a tier of clients who have received these reports via pdf since the feature was released. I suppose a series of screen shots>power point> pdf might work. Print screen degrades the image a little bit and is somewhat kooky. Any app/ extension recommendations are welcome!

TIA,

Scott

Hi there, @WeststarAdmin2.

To access the Performance Center, you must be an admin user using the QuickBooks Online Advanced or Accountant version. Let me go further into details about this.

This feature contains important information essential for monitoring and managing your business data, which is why only admin users are allowed to access this. If you want other users to access this section, I recommend contacting your company administrator to assign them the appropriate roles.

Moreover, if you want to share this data to your team, you can export and print the document using QBO Advanced. To do so, here's how:

  1. Go to Reports.
  2. Select Performance Center.
  3. Once on the page, click Export, beside the Settings option.
  4. On the Export charts, click Export.
  5. Open the file, once it downloaded successfully.
  6. Use the keyboard shortcut CTRL + P to print.

For reference, please check this article: Create charts to see your business performance.

Additionally, you can check out this article to learn about customizing your reports with other applications: Using QuickBooks Online Advanced reporting tools Fathom and Spreadsheet Sync.

If you have any further questions about accessing the Performance Center, don’t hesitate to reach out in the Community space. We’re here to help.

I am my company's administrator and I would love to grant permission to a user to be able to access the Performance Center, but I cannot find any such permission in the existing Roles or in any of the options for a custom role.  I have not found it in any of the documentation nor have I been able to get anyone to tell me how to do this.

Keep in mind that this user only needs access to the things that are in the Performance Center (reports and graphs).  The user currently has the "View company reports" role which gives access to Reports.  This also includes a link on the page to the "Performance center".  This lands the user on a page which contains only the graphs BUT there is no link to get back to the reports.  It is an awkward one way trip.  It looks to me like the developers had the right idea at one point and then it got broken.

Hello there, WeststarAdmin2.

I see you're looking for ways to grant your team access to the Performance Center through the custom role feature, as this is relevant to your business when managing finances effectively. However, this permission is currently restricted to users with admin rights. While the View company reports role provides access to the Performance Center, the link to revert to the reports page is unavailable.

  3. Click Next to submit.

You'll want to stay up-to-date with your product requests by visiting this website: Customer Feedback for QuickBooks Online.

In the meantime, you can have your user use the browser's back button or change the URL link back to "https://qbo.intuit.com/app/reports" to revert to the report's page. You can see this image for reference:

On the other hand, if you want to keep track of the changes made within your file, you'll want to use the audit log. It also let's you to see who made particular changes and when they happened.
