I understand the importance of generating accurate reports for your business, Krista.

Let me guide you through the process of creating a balance sheet report and including it in your favorites in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Here's how:

  1. Click Reports on the left side menu
  2. Select Balance Sheet under the Business Overview category.

To add it to your favorites, simply click the star icon beside the report label.

Reports - Balance Sheet

That's the problem.  Under my Business overview in Reports....there is No Balance Sheet.  I can't search it anywhere, to be able to add it to my Favorites.  Why wouldn't I have a Balance Sheet?

Reports - Balance Sheet

Hi there, Krista.

I understand the importance of running your Balance Sheet report and adding it to your Favorites list. Rest assured, I'm here to help you resolve this.

Sometimes, our browser fills too much cache, which could cause malfunctions to some features or slow down a website. I can guide you on troubleshooting your browser to ensure it runs with QuickBooks efficiently. Let's start with accessing QuickBooks Online using incognito mode or a private window.

Here are the shortcut keys to go private mode in a browser:

For Google Chrome / Microsoft Edge / Opera:

  • Windows: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mac: Command ⌘ + Shift + N

For Firefox:

  • Windows: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Mac: Command ⌘ + Shift + P

For Safari:

  • Shift + Command ⌘ + N

If this works, you can proceed to clear your browser's cache and cookies.

Additionally, you can learn how to customize your reports to show specific accounts or edit date periods to your preference.

If you have additional concerns besides Balance Sheets not showing in reports, please leave a reply below. I'm always here to assist you.
