RTD Report-drilldown

Hello there, @Rory290.

Allow me to suggest some steps to troubleshoot the issue and enable successful data export to Excel. If you have all the necessary information in the report but are unable to transfer it to Excel, it’s possible that the problem is related to the browser’s cache. I'm here to help resolve this so you can swiftly return to your tasks and business operations.

Let’s start by carrying out some basic browser troubleshooting to pinpoint the issue. This will not only help determine the problem but also enhance the overall performance of your browser.

Begin by restarting your browser. Then, try exporting the reports in a private browser. You can use these keyboard shortcuts to launch a new private window:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

If you can see the data when you export the report to Excel on the private browser, go back to the regular browser and clear your browser's cache. Otherwise, you can use another supported browser.

Furthermore, you can refer to the following articles for more information on managing reports and other data in QuickBooks:

Managing your data exports is an essential aspect of your business operations. If you require any clarification or have questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'm here to assist you 24/7 and happy to help.

It seems that the Export to Excel option is a known feature by QB Support guys; maybe they will add it at some stage.
