Validation failed tax classification feature is not supported. Try again without tax classification error - Android app only - does anyone know how to fix it ?

Hi, I'm having the following issue on my android tablet.  Both the app and tablet are up to date, I did clear all data, i did uninstall and reinstalled the app too.  Steps to reproduce the issue:  1. Select 'Invoice' from the screen  2. Click on the little + icon to add an invoice  3. Select customer  4. Click on 'Add product or service'  5. Click on the green button 'Add product or service'  6. Try to add a new product, set name and price  7. Click 'Add'  8. Error appears - 'Validation failed Tax classification feature is not supported. Try again without tax classification code.  Note - When I tried to click on 'Select a tax code' nothing popped up, it looks like a dropdown/text field but it's not responding.  We never had this issue before. I checked that we have a standard tax rate set up as a default.  This flow works fine on a computer, the issue is on our Android app.  Quickbooks Online Version 29.37.0+1 (1592937001)  Android version 15

Since it is not functioning in your application, I recommend continuing to use your computer in the meantime.

 

It is best to reach out to our Live Support Team so they can check your Android app to identify the root cause and help you successfully create an invoice and select the appropriate sales tax.

 I've spoken multiple times to support team, nobody can help me, everybody just tells me that the web is the only source of truth and that the app is in beta testing which is absolutely ridiculous support.
