Hello, usermonicamdorris.

I'll lend a hand to help you add your miles in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Are you using the browser to add the miles? If so, did you receive an error while doing so? More details would definitely help me come up with a resolution.

In the meantime, let's do the following steps to help you add the miles.

This might be caused by a browser cache issue. So one way to rule this out is to use an incognito browser. The shortcut keys:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari (newer versions only): Command + Option + P

Next, add the miles manually. When you're able to do so, go back to the regular browser and clear the cache. Close it afterwards to apply the changes. You can also use a supported browser if you prefer it over clearing the cache (each browser uses different cache storage).

However, are you using the mobile app to add and track your mileage automatically? These articles have the troubleshooting steps to help you resolve the issue:

Ready to pay and file your estimated taxes after adding the miles? We have an article to guide you through the process: Pay federal estimated quarterly taxes in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

I'd be more than happy to lend a hand again if you have more questions for QuickBooks Self-Employed. I'm here to offer guides to help you file taxes, add transactions or give pointers for Schedule C.
