Pledge Payments
The non-profit I work for is are starting a Capital Campaign. Some of our staff will be donating to the Capital Campaign through payroll deductions, so I am setting up a payroll line item to do this. I have a Capital Campaign Pledge Receivable account that I was going to map to the payroll line item, but because it is an 'Accounts Receivable' type, I can't. The only solution I can think of is to create a separate account for Capital Campaign Employee Pledges as an 'Other Current Asset' and map the payroll line item to that, but I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue or knows of another way that might be more accurate.
