Hello,

We just purchase a company and I have a QBO account set up along with payroll. We are not ready to convert to using QBO yet but I want to use the payroll feature. Is there a way I can use the payroll feature and not have the journal entries intergraded to our QBO account?

I'm here to share some information about how QuickBooks Online Payroll Plan works.

Unfortunately, we're unable to utilize the Payroll feature without using QuickBooks Online. Please know that Core, Premium, and Elite are only add-on services in QuickBooks. They cannot stand alone and can only be added to an existing subscription or plan to significantly boost your business.

Since you're not yet ready to use your QBO account, you'll want to consider subscribing to Intuit Online Payroll in the meantime. It's a separate program that offers a range of service plans, allows unlimited payroll runs each month, and is easily managed through an online portal that makes processing payroll a simple task.

To be guided in signing up for the program, you can connect to our IOP Customer Care Team through this link: Contact Intuit Online Payroll Support.

Additionally, you can export your IOP data once you decide to move to QuickBooks Online.
