Question

Customers & Sub-Customers

I was wondering if you still can change a "Customer" into a Sub-Customer of a different Customer? I know on older versions I was able to do that but I don't see how I can do it on the newer Desktop version.

If anyone has done this, can you let me know how it is done.

Thank you

Janice

I've got you covered, @JKMatsko. Yes, you can reassign an existing customer as a sub-customer under a different parent to help you better organize your customer hierarchy. We can do this by adding the Job of: column in the Add/Edit Multiple List Entries page.

  1. Navigate to the Customers Center
  2. Locate the customer name you want to change and right-click on it.
  3. Choose Add/Edit Multiple Customer:Jobs.
  4. Click the Customize Columns button.
  5. In the Available Columns section, select Job of:, then Add.
  6. Move the Job of: item below the Name by pressing Move Up continuously, then Ok.
  7. Find the customer you want to alter and pick the new parent customer in the Job Of: column.
  8. Hit Save Changes
