Desktop Payroll for Mac

Hello everyone.

 

I have an unusual question. I’m currently using Quickbooks Premier 2023 for Windows with Payroll but we primarily use Apple computers in our office so I’m using it on a Virtual Machine on a Mac.

 

If I get Quickbooks 2024 for Mac, is there a way to continue using Payroll and export it weekly to the Mac version? I was taught on the Mac version so that’s what I know and love.

Let me share some information about the payroll in QuickBooks Desktop.

 

It's not possible to transfer QuickBooks Desktop payroll to QuickBooks Desktop Mac because QBDT Mac has its own cloud-based payroll. However, you can move some data from QuickBooks Desktop for Windows to Mac.

 

Since you've mentioned earlier that you want the Mac version, I recommend to subscribe Payroll for Mac. You can check this for more details about the QuickBooks Desktop Mac Payroll.

Keep in mind, QB Desktop 2024 Mac is only for up to 3 users. You have to call sales team to purchase. Another option, you can purchase it through a select partner (tax exempt, no credit card required, can get $100 cashback).
