How do I get QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus 2024 to print a statements again. I just get this notice: Please wait for printer connection or cancel connection.  I tried QuickBooks Tool Hub already several times.

You can resolve the printer connection issue in QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus 2024 by resetting your QuickBooks print settings and ensuring the correct printer is selected.

 

Here's how to reset QuickBooks print settings:

 

  1. Close your QuickBooks.
  2. Go to the QuickBooks installation folder (usually C:\ProgramData\Intuit\QuickBooks 20XX).
  3. Locate the QBPrint.qbp file. 
  4. Right-click the file and select Rename
  5. Change the name to qbprint.qbp.old and press Enter.
  6. Reopen QuickBooks, then go to File and select Printer Setup.
  7. Choose any transaction in the Form Name list and select OK. This will create a new QBPrint.qbp file.
  8. Try printing a statement again.

 

In addition, ensure the printer is properly connected and turned on, that the printer drivers are up to date, and that QuickBooks software is updated to the latest release.
