Hello!

 

I have a client that is needing to connect Shopify with QBO and track inventory.  They are using QBO plus.  Is anyone familiar with any trainings they can view to learn how they work together.

Welcome back to the QuickBooks Community, schmidtfs. Let me discuss how Shopify performs. Then, ensure you connect this app to QuickBooks Online so you can start managing your inventory smoothly.

 

Shopify is an online platform that lets small businesses manage their stores and sell their products. To start connecting the said app with QBO to begin tracking inventory, you'll have to go to the Apps menu in QuickBooks. You'll then be able to see a step-by-step walkthrough of how to connect the two programs.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Go to the Apps menu at the left panel and find and install Shopify Connector by Intuit.
  3. Choose Connect. Then, you'll be redirected to the Connections tab in QuickBooks Connector (OneSaas). Select Connect to Shopify.
  4. A new page will pop up on your screen and it will ask you to enter the domain URL. Once done, choose Connect to Shopify.
  5. Sign in to your Shopify store.

 

After that, your Shopify account is now connected and authorized with your QuickBooks Connector file.

This no longer works as you are describing and it is infuriating that no one at Intuit seems to know that!

Let me share an update regarding Shopify Connector.

 

Starting September 15, 2022, customers can no longer download Shopify Connector in the US app store. On the other hand, new customers can sync their payouts from Shopify using our new Commerce Accounting feature which is currently accessible by using the Commerce tab in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
