Question

ACH payments to Vendors outside the US

Hello,  I run an interior design business and am trying to pay a Canadian vendor via ACH from the bill I created in QB.  I have set up the vendor with the Canadian address and the bank account numbers they use for US payments.  When I go to pay the bill, it says “missing info” and wants me to add US states only.  Is there a way that I can allow it to send to another country? Thank you!

QuickBooks Bill Pay doesn’t support international payments, cross-border ACH transfers, or foreign bank accounts. It is designed exclusively for domestic US payments, which is why their address was flagged. To pay your Canadian vendors, I recommend searching for third-party app.

Here's how to find one:

  1. Select Integrations in the top right corner of QuickBooks.
  2. Click Explore Integrations.
  3. Use the Categories or Industries dropdowns to filter for an app that fits your needs.

Let me know if you need help with anything else.

@BLDB Check out Melio; you can make payments in USD to your international vendors. You can also earn cashback and rewards.
