When I take an owners draw (QBSP calls it “owners pay”) from my business account to my personal account QB Solopreneur gives Transaction Type options as Expense, Check, Transfer, or Credit Card Payment. This is a transfer of equity, so I assume its Transfer... right? I’m not an accountant and catch myself making wrong assumptions too often not to ask at this point.

In QBO, under "books review", there is a section that lists uncleared transactions.  When I went in to clear these up, I discovered that they HAVE cleared, and were reconciled.  So, why are they showing as uncleared, and how do I fix it?  It makes the list rather useless if it's showing me transactions that are cleared.  

I have run the QuickBooks update and restarted, but the red exclamation mark still appears in my reminders to ‘Restart Quickbooks and install updates.  I have done this several times now, but the alert will not clear.

If we are already using a basic overtime pay type and all of our OT hours are "qualified", why would we need to add the "Qualified Overtime Tracking" pay type?

Hi, today is my subscription billing comes (28/6/2026). And it always happened every month, when i want to pay it, the system said "Your account suspended". Alright then, i try to pay it with my VISA card, and then boom, the system said "Something's is not working blabla" just like in the picture that i attached hereMy question is why this is always happened:(I try to be calm and dont panic, but turns out this is always happened. Please fix this. I already tried like 3+ times update my payments with the same card but the system always said like this. What do you mean?

I cannot gain access to my account because my phone number associated with my account is no longer accessible. to change my phone number I need to receive a code on the old phone number, do you all see how this could probably be a pretty common issue??? There’s no way to contact customer support here- only the sales team. Wtf?

Can anyone suggest an online payroll program for WA state?

With open banking is it necessary to have a Tax file number in order to obtain bank feeds i have been using quickbook for my personal finances and hobby income from what I collected over yrs i am not a businessowner never had a TFN.Does this mean I will.be unable to obtain bank feeds because no TFN. My only option is to get data manually using CSV file or cancel quickbooks find alternate program where TFN is not necessary.Any advice welcome

I created a new company and somehow it is associated with an old QuickBooks Desktop account that I have Instead of the current account that I use. How would I transfer ownership of that company from my old QuickBooks account to my new QuickBooks account?

Hello We have a payroll subscription and a couple employees on simply insured via QBO (which is great, thank you). Question is, our accountant will handle payroll now, which I won't need a bundled payroll subscription for any longer, is the payroll subscription required to keep the insurance through simplyinsured/qbo? Thanks

Using QB Desktop Pro 2020.Is there a way to increase the font size permanently on my printed reports without having to 'Customize' every time I print a report?

Hi, has this happened to anyone else please.  All the settings look correct.  I have manually sent an invoice to a client checking receipt.  The invoice was no longer in the focussed email which is annoying - inconvenience nobody asked for!

I installed the most recent update today, and noticed immediately my QB desktop program had a mind of its own and generating reports with tiny little writing.  Why? The font size is so tiny and is the same on every single report I generate.This change is not desirable.I changed the Font Size in "My Preferences" but QB is ignoring this.I have to change the font size every single time I open a report or refresh it.Why would you genius wizards at Intuit decide that everyone has incredible eagle eye vision and force us to change the font size multiple times while trying to work?Is anyone else having this issue?

Hi! I just created a new company in my Quickbooks Desktop Pro account however, when I log onto the Quickbooks app to photograph receipts, the new company does not show up. All of my other Quickbooks desktop companies show up in the Quickbooks app and I have no issue photographing and saving receipts to the app. Can someone help!?!?!?!?!

Is it possible to invoice a customer and have them make monthly payments? Lets say the invoice is for $1000 and they can make $200/mo payments. Can I set quickbooks up to send them an invoice each month for $200 and have the remaining amount due tracked?
