Setting up a home equity account

I'd be glad to walk you through the steps. Here's how you can add the equity account in the Chart of Accounts:

1. On the left panel, click Accounting > Chart of Accounts.
2. Select the New button.
3. Choose Equity from the Account Type drop-down menu, and then select the Detail Type.
4. Enter the Name and Description.
5. Click Save and Close.
